A: Subject to survey and existing telephony it is possible to utilising existing cabling. However that cannot be guaranteed without a survey.
Q: Do I actually need a telephone system?
A: If you need to handle multiple calls and transfer internally with colleagues a telephone system would be recommended.
Q: How long is the warranty on the telephone system?
A: Alcatel-Lucent telephone Solution come with a standard 1 year warranty however GBT offer an ongoing Maintenance Package which covers all Alcatel-Lucent equipment.
Q: What is the lead-time on installation of a new telephone system?
A: The lead time on a new telephone system is approx 4/5 week depending on line/hardware requirements.
Q: What is a PBX?
A: Private Branch Exchange otherwise known as a telephone system which allows central control of incoming calls via a single operator.
Q: What is the difference between a hosted solution and a telephone system?
A: A hosted solution is a soft switch gaining connection via Broadband, ADSL, SDSLor MPLS and a telephone system is connected by traditional ISDN30, ISDN2 or Ananlogue Lines
